UrbanPlanet helped research and design a sophisticated online cost of living calculator that lets people answer some basic questions: "How much does it cost to meet a family's basic needs?" and "What are my chances of finding a family-supporting wage?"
The Minnesota Literacy Council The Minnesota Literacy Council (MLC) is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals and community literacy programs throughout the state. UrbanPlanet helped the Literacy Council build their web presence and integrated into the site a searchable, online database of literacy programs across Minnesota.
Admission Possible Admission Possible is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping promising, low-income people prepare for and earn admission to college. UrbanPlanet helped Admission Possible rebuild and rebrand their website make the Web a more prominent part of their internal and external communication strategy.
Child Care Information for Parents and Providers UrbanPlanet worked closely with Resources for Child Caring managers and staff to create a strategy for the organization's first web site. The web site plan developed by UrbanPlanet and Resources for Child Caring enabled the organization to provide a wide range of information to key audiences
Employment Resource and Referral Tools Connecting potential employees with available jobs is a complex logistical challenge. The web, however, is perfectly suited to bridging this gap.
